United Nations Environment Progamme
Meet The Dais

Emily Heyler | Head Chair
Emily Heyler is currently a grade eleven student at 'Iolani School in Honolulu Hawaii, and is honoured to be serving as the head chair for the United Nations Environmental Programme for Interconnected Model United Nations 2020. Although she has started doing MUN a few short years ago, the research, diplomacy, and discourse still draw her to the many conferences that she attends. When she is not stressing over background guides, Emily can be found studying for her classes, spending time with her friends and family, or listening to music. She looks forward to meeting all of the delegates for a weekend of fruitful debate and diplomacy.

Lidya Vo | Deputy Chair
Lidya Vo is a rising senior at High School for The Gifted - Vietnam National University, specializing in linguistics. She recently moved to Canada and is expected to transfer schools soon. She's been doing MUNs since the start of high school, so it's been a huge part of her life and has really helped in molding her as a person. She has attended 8 online and offline MUNs as a delegate, won two awards, and this will be her 3rd time as a Chair. When she's not MUN-ing or doing schoolwork, she likes taking walks in the park, listening to music and playing Among Us (although she's not very good at it). She's really excited to be here with all of you, and do hope that you find this to be an amazing opportunity to learn and to grow!
